Media spokesperson and media / political consultant (5 years)

Martin formed and organized a volunteer grassroots group and worked closely with attorneys and elected officials. Martin established and maintained a working relationship with local and national media and ultimately brought international attention to the groups cause. Martin held and arranged live interviews on television, radio, newspapers & magazines, including the New York Times (cover story of NYT Magazine), Washington Post, NPR, CNN and Nightline. Martin also lobbied in Washington D.C. on behalf of the group.
