"Give 'Em The Boot" Campaign

for passing a hoax of an energy bill
Oppose the socialization of America - stop the bailout!

"Drill Here, Drill Now, Pay Less" - sign Newt Gingrich's petition

With gas prices at $4 per gallon and rising cost of products due to high oil prices, Congress has decided to go on a 5 week paid vacation and then pass a scam of an energy bill (H.R. 6899: Comprehensive American Energy Security and Consumer Protection Act).  First Nancy Pelosi (who thinks natural gas is an alternative to fossil fuels - hey Nancy, natural gas is a fossil fuel!) would not allow a vote on more drilling and tapping into our own natural resources; then she rushes a hoax of a bill through the House without any committee hearings, discussions or amendments. This bill is designed to permanently kill offshore drilling within 50 miles (where 90% of the oil and gas resides) and give Democrats political clout. The 290-page energy bill, assembled behind closed doors in House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office, put nearly all House Democrats on record supporting "more" offshore drilling.

What this bill does:

 - permanently prevent exploration of nearly 90 percent of the Outer Continental Shelf for American energy and block energy production in arctic Alaska and the Inter-Mountain West

 - permanently lock up 80 percent of our nation's offshore energy resources -- holding hostage billions of barrels of American oil

 - A permanent ban out to 50 miles locks-up the largest known offshore energy reserves, including those off the coast of California, that are close to existing infrastructure and [can] be produced the fastest

 - The offshore areas surrounding the State of Alaska are not currently subject to any bans. This plan appears to institute a 50-mile ban around energy-rich Alaskan shore for the first time ever . Energy exploration there is just beginning

 - no new coal

 - no new nuclear plants

 - no new oil refineries

More drilling is necessary to sustain our security and American way of life.  With Russia attacking others to expand their empire and trying to grab oil in the Artic Circle; With China to drill off US coast; With Iran &Venezuela being openly hostile to the USA and other democracies around the world, we need to rely on our own resources rather than the resources of our enemy countries. Send Pelosi, Reed, and your congressperson who voted for this bill a message to allow an up or down vote on drilling for more oil in the USA.  If you are as displeased with them as I am on this issue, take a pair of your old smelly boots (or shoes/flip flops) and send one to Nancy Pelosi and one to Harry Reed.  Send the message; "You stink and if you don't pass a true energy bill that allows tapping into our own resources, you will get the boot!"  You can also of course send a boot to your congressperson with the same message.  Our voices shall be heard.  We the People, not the government are the decision makers.  Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reed are infringing on our fundamental Constitutional Right of We The People through our representatives to govern this country.  Pelosi is only one voice in the Congress and Reed is only one voice in the senate and they represent only one area of this country.  They are infringing on our rights by blocking a bill for more drilling to come to the floor for a vote.  This country is not a Pelosi-Reed dictatorship.  Make sure your voice is heard - Give 'Em the Boot!

Oppose the socialization of America - stop the bailout!

"Give 'em The Boot" Send a boot to the perpetrators of the economic crises, Barney Frank and Chris Dodd.
Where are the investigations? Where are the hearings? Where are the impeachments? Where are the prosecutions?

Here is a solution to the current economic crises:
 - stop prohibiting us to use all of our natural resources
 - stop prohibiting us to build more oil refineries
 - stop prohibiting us to build more nuclear, coal and hydro power plants
 - cut the capital gains tax
 - cut the
business tax
 - cut the income tax
 - cut spending
 - vote all Democrats and fiscally irresponsible Republicans out of office
