MARTIN'S |

"What separates the wise from the rest is an uncommon desire to know the truth regardless of one's understanding, unlike most who pervert the truth according to one's beliefs and desires." - Martin Dzuris Martin lived half of his life behind the Iron Curtain under the oppression of communism. Martin is most likely the only American to defect from communism twice in one lifetime. Therefore he knows what it is like to live with and without freedom thus creating unique perspectives and insight on what freedom actually is. The first time Martin defected from communism to the USA was after Prague Spring. Five years later he was kidnapped and forcefully taken back behind the Iron Curtain during the time of “normalization” only to defect again on the last day of "Palach's Week" ((first anti-communist protest in 20 years, the beginning of the Velvet Revolution) 9 months before the fall of the Berlin Wall. Martin was a participant in the demonstrations against the communist regime during Palach's Week. While living in Communism, Martin was forced to serve in the military, forced to participate in civilian “volunteer” service, was forcefully separated from his family and was interrogated by military counter-espionage and secret police. Due to his and his family’s history he was under surveillance and his education and employment were greatly affected. Martin also experienced the horrors of the national socialistic health care system as a patient and a health care worker. Through his personal experiences, Martin holds unique views when it comes to oppression and liberty. His experiences with communist’s propaganda have taught him to distinguish the differences between appealing rhetoric and actual governmental control / lack of individual freedoms. Through experiencing life without liberty, he acquired an aspiration to preserve the American way of life and The American Dream. The lack of freedom of speech during communism created a unique passion to exercise this freedom and quenched any underlining fear of calling political claims for what they are regardless of the consequences. Political correctness has become a form of restriction of the 1st amendment of the Constitutional Bill of Rights that Martin quickly embraced while having the honor to become an American citizen. Therefore he denounces all reservations of politically offending others and exercises his freedom of speech to the fullest. Depending on the issues, Martin has been labeled as a conservative, independent and libertarian. He considers himself a God fearing conservative constitutionalist. He strongly believes in the Constitution of the United States and believes it should be adhered to and amended only under extreme situations. Martin supports small government and State rights. From personal experience he knows the bigger the government becomes the more power it obtains and as a result citizens lose personal freedoms, prosperity and power. Martin is a hunter and believes the "The right to bear arms" is the most effective provision to protect citizens from their own government and oppression. As he puts it: "You won't have the first [amendment], or any other for that matter, without the second." Martin also strongly believes in personal freedom, personal responsibility, and protecting the rights of those who can not stand up for themselves such as small children, unborn children, and the under privileged. Martin also has a unique and compelling personal story when it comes to abortion. These unique experiences have given Martin a rare ability to think outside the box, to come up with unique solutions and find a way where there is no way. With God's help, Martin has accomplished things no one else was able to. Martin lived through the plight our country is now going through and is heading for. While living behind the Iron Curtain, he saw the cooperation between communist, socialist, atheist and Muslim groups and governments to destroy their common enemy – USA, Israel and the Western civilization. Through his very unique experiences, God has given him wisdom and insight regarding socialism, communism and oppression, and how it relates to America’s political and spiritual plight and her future. Martin knows first hand what happens to a society which removes God from public and political life and the fallacy and danger of “social and economic justice”, political correctness and “social gospel”, all of which have roots in communism and have infiltrated our churches, government and society. Growing up in an oppressive, anti-Semitic and racist communist society, God has given Martin a hearth for oppressed people especially minorities and Jews. For a while Martin grew up with the poorest Blacks and Hispanics from Chicago's intercity and he doesn't "suffer" from "white man's guilt" and rejects race baiting, a hallmark of the American Left. Martin grew up as an atheist (without religious freedoms) but changed his world view from atheism to Judeo-Christian after studying various philosophies and religions around the world and developed a personal relationship with Jesus Christ after he moved to the US. God has allowed these unique life experiences, that Martin may use them for His glory. Many can learn from his experiences. God has given Martin a gift to speak with dynamic delivery. He’s bestowed upon Martin the ability to engage virtually any individual or audience, even those who fundamentally disagree. He’s enabled Martin to reach out to large groups of people including our youth like only few can. And He has provided many opportunities and years of experience in public speaking including T.V. and radio. Martin is a political outsider who knows how insiders think. He knows how enemies of freedom think and is able to anticipate the opposition’s next move and provide a preventive as well as an aftermath proper course of action. Martin’s allegiances are not to a particular party or ideology but are only to God, family, liberty, the USA, and Israel. Video of "Palach Week" demonstration

protest in Czechoslovakia in 20 years) – Martin was there, 5 days latter he
